Role Purpose
The Head of Corporate Banking is a senior executive role responsible for leading the Bank’s commercial strategy across Corporate Payments, FX, and Deposits. This role demands a highly strategic leader with a proven ability to drive significant, sustainable commercial growth in regulated markets. The successful candidate will be accountable for shaping and executing commercial expansion plans and associated delivery. This role is suited to individuals with a strong strategic mindset and a demonstrable track record of delivering commercial growth. It also requires a strong understanding of Consumer Duty, ensuring that all commercial activities, from product development to client engagement, are aligned with delivering fair value and good outcomes for customers.

Strategic Leadership & Commercial Growth
- Lead the development and execution of the Bank’s corporate banking strategy across FX, payments, and deposit products.
- Drive individual and team level new business acquisition and oversee relationship management for existing clients, ensuring growth in both revenue and client engagement and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement market strategies to expand the Bank’s footprint in Gibraltar and the UK.
- Develop and deliver a joint feasible go-to-market strategy with Moneycorp TTT for UK banking opportunities, including cross-selling initiatives and deposit growth.
Product & Proposition Development
- Oversee the scaling of the Bank’s payments solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and market trends.
- Lead pricing strategy and proposition development and oversight for both corporate and retail segments, with a focus on commercial impact.
- Champion innovation in product delivery and client experience in line with Consumer Duty principles.
- Explore and develop a private client proposition leveraging Moneycorp’s global capabilities to unlock new revenue streams and enhance commercial footprint.
Risk Management Solutions Oversight
- Provide strategic oversight of the Risk Management Solutions (MiFID) dealing desk, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and commercial alignment.
- Support the development and expansion of the dealing desk function, including talent, client engagement and wallet growth.
Financial Performance & Commercial Accountability
- Own the P&L for the Corporate Banking business, ensuring delivery of revenuetargets through data-driven decision-making.
- Analyse KPIs and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks, and implement commercially motivated action plans.
- Lead build-out initiatives and investment cases for new capabilities or market entry.
- Drive deposit gathering initiatives to further strengthen liquidity position, ensuring alignment with revenue growth objectives
Governance, Risk & Control
- Ensure personal and team compliance with all regulatory and internal governance standards.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Fraud, and Finance teams to manageoperational and reputational risk.
- Report regularly to the Executive Committee and Bank Board (as required), contributing to strategic decision-making and performance oversight.
Culture & People Leadership
- Lead by example, fostering a high-performance, client-centric culture.
- Coach and develop team members with clear objectives, regular feedback, and structured progression plans.
- Partner with HR to support talent development, succession planning, and colleague engagement.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience relevant to the role
Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven track record of P&L ownership and revenue growth at a senior executive level within a regulated bank or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to design and lead strategic transformation, delivering measurable commercial impact.
- Experience in scaling businesses through innovation, including the use of AI, automation, and data-led decision-making to enhance client targeting, onboarding, and product delivery.
- Strong background in digitally lead commercial leadership, including payments proposition development, pricing strategy, and multi-channel customer acquisition.
- Knowledge of MiFID FX dealing desk operations, with a clear understanding of regulatory and market dynamics.
- Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams (Compliance, Risk, Finance, Operations) and influence senior stakeholders.
- Leadership of multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams in fast-paced, performance-driven environments.
- Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including FX, deposits, and onboarding processes.
- Commercially minded with a strong grasp of propositions, marketing, and product development.
- Comfortable operating within a matrixed organisational structure.
- Strong understanding of the Consumer Duty framework, with experience embedding its principles into product design, pricing, communications, and client engagement.
- Proven ability to ensure that commercial strategies align with delivering good outcomes for customers, particularly in regulated environments.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at ExCo and Board level
